Un espace pour jouer à Bolé Festival X

At Bolé Festival X, there was a place to pick up a controller between the food, music, and everything else happening across the stadium. That was our corner of the festival.

FIGN joined Bolé's tenth-anniversary celebration as its gaming experience vendor, at Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt from September 4–6, 2026. The festival's invitation to eat, play, and connect gave us a setting to bring women and girls into gaming as part of a weekend they were already enjoying.

More than one way to play

Our festival recap moves from the stadium stands into the FIGN tent: screens on tables, controllers ready, and a team on the ground. Visitors could try console games, take a turn at a racing wheel, or put on a VR headset. Football and fighting games shared the space with racing and virtual reality.

That variety matters. People approach gaming with different interests and different levels of experience. Giving someone a few ways to try it helps her discover what she enjoys, without needing to arrive with a favourite title or an established gaming identity.

The people behind the stand

The behind-the-scenes reel puts our team in the frame too. FIGN shirts, conversations around the stand, and people moving between games tell another part of the story: a gaming space needs people who make it welcoming.

Our aim was to make women and girls feel that this was a space they could enter. Playing, asking a question, meeting someone from the community, or discovering a gaming career path are all useful places to begin. Our stand connected that invitation to FIGN and to Traka, the esports talent combine testing reaction speed, aim, and memory.
