FIGN Launch Event: 300+ Gamers, One Movement

The Day We Made History
On November 14, 2025, over 300 women and girls gathered at Renaissance Innovation Labs in Port Harcourt for the official launch of Females in Gaming Network (FIGN).
What started as an idea — that African women deserve a space in gaming — became a movement in one afternoon.

- Live gaming tournaments featuring Mortal Kombat and FIFA
- Networking sessions where members found their squads
- Panel discussions on careers in esports, streaming, and game development
What's Next
The launch was just the beginning. We're now building chapters across 7+ countries and planning our 2026 school tour. Stay tuned.
